I grew up next door to a filmmaker who, at that time, was one of the few people in Europe to own a Phantom high-speed video camera, capable of filming in super slow motion. Working with him - filming snakes strike at 2,000 frames per second and watching water balloons burst in slow motion - my eyes were opened to the magic of filmmaking at a young age.
Making films is a privilege and brings me huge amounts of joy. Having a deep appreciation for nature and the ocean, I like to find untold stories that connect people with the natural world.
